Directed by Penny Marshall and starring Geena Davis, Madonna, Lori Petty, Ann Cusack, Megan Cavanaugh, Rosie O’Donnell and Tom Hanks, the 1992 film is inspired by the heartfelt and humorous true story of the 600 trailblazing women who formed the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League during World War II.
